Breathe is a personal iPhone app. It is not on the App Store yet.
What it is
A log for four practices: O2Trainer-style breather work, Wim Hof (Breath of Fire), square / box breathing, and CO₂ tables. Each tab is that practice’s history. Tap + to start. Optional live heart rate from a chest strap or Apple Watch.
Requirements
- iPhone on iOS 17.6 or later
- Optional: Polar-class BLE chest strap exposing the standard Heart Rate Service
- Optional: paired Apple Watch, for the heart-rate companion
Common stuck points
No sound, or other audio paused. Cues are supposed to mix with whatever is already playing. Stop the practice and start it again so the shared cue engine activates.
Heart rate shows a dash. Put the strap on, allow Bluetooth for Breathe, and wait for a connection. The preview card only updates when the monitor has a beat.
Watch heart rate not arriving. Open the watch app first, then the iPhone app, then start the practice. Both sides need a chance to activate WatchConnectivity.
Box froze during a CO₂ table. That is on purpose. Box auto-pauses for the table’s hold and resumes on the next inhale.
